Leading is making decisions, taking responsibility, and stepping forward to see what needs to be done. Leaders motivate & inspire Leaders set healthy expectations Leaders respectfully challenge opinions Leaders know when to stop leading Leaders understand who they are, what they want, and what it takes to go after that. And men leading in love fully accept that a woman is an individual with her own needs. They respect her and even more, they value her. Leaders communicate their thoughts, feelings and willingly engage in a conversation about differences and have a healthy debate. Leaders prefer you take the credit and they take the blame. They are accountable and responsible yet careful to endure until the greater good is achieved. Leaders are reliable and dependable. They see things through and cover the gaps. They assess the impact to things, ensuring all things are considered. Leaders don’t want their way. They want what’s best. Leaders show up in action as needed. Leaders recognize progress and celebrate success, serving as the biggest cheerleader and advocate. Leaders are not threatened by the success of others, they want all to achieve. If you see leading as controlling then you miss the beauty of leadership. Leading is about bringing out the best in others and never about manipulation. The minute you make it about you is the minute you stop leading. Every woman appreciates her man authentically leading her and has no trouble partnering or following when he truly leads. And I’ll be honest, money & material things likely fall second to how you show up and lead in relationships. Show up leading right and she’ll follow you to the moon & back. Guaranteed!!
